RIP Marvin Voges

Marvin C. Voges, 60, of Red Bud, Ill., born Oct. 6, 1955, in Red Bud, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Voges was a truck driver and farmer. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 50.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Irma, nee Burgdorf, Voges.

Marvin is survived by his children, Nicholas Voges of Red Bud, Ill., and Katie Voges of Belleville, Ill.; granddaughter, Mya Anne Voges; and a stepson, Eric (Aimee) Braun. He was a dear cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or school.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home, Red Bud, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Nebel and Rev. Russell Koen officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.
